JAMES HENRY's writing career was launched with his original comedy Skiffy which won Channel Four's sitcom writing competition in 1998. Since then, he's been asked to contribute for Smack the Pony (Talkback/Ch4) and was on the writing team for the award-winning comedy series Green Wing.

James has written regularly on Bob the Builder (Hit/BBC), and is developing a teen drama series for BBC Drama, as well as writing an original feature script HERO TRIP, now in development with the British Film Council.

James is also writing a fantasy novel for teenagers entitled The Curious Cabinet, and has a writing blog at James and the Blue Cat, a post from which was contributed to Shaggy Blog Stories, which features comic writing from the best british bloggers of 2007, all proceeds from which went to Comic Relief.
